The Carroll County Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled a public hearing on the draft countywide comprehensive plan, aka, "Pathways to Carroll's Future Landscape," an extension of Maryland's Smart Growth Master Plan and liberal social engineering experiment. The public hearing on the State mandated Master Plan will be conducted between 6 and 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, in the auditorium at Winters Mill High School, located at 560 Gorsuch Road, Westminster. All interested individuals wishing to present formal comment for the Planning and Zoning Commission to consider are welcome to attend. Verbal comments will be limited to two minutes per speaker. Written comments will be entered into the public record. Any comments already submitted will also be forwarded to the Planning and Zoning Commission for review.
