Maryland, oh Maryland, what the heck is wrong with you? How this Governor can garner a 53% job performance approval rating, given the State's tax and deficit spending proclivities, is beyond reason.
Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley is expected to seek reelection this fall, and it’s a six-point race for now if it’s a rematch of 2006.

The Obama Administration is touting a great success with the stimulus package. They say, creating two million jobs and averting a total economic collapse, on this first year anniversary of the governments' looting of the people's Treasury, is a rousing success.

Governor Sarah Palin was the keynote speaker at the Tea Party Convention held in Nashville, TN on Sunday. The more she does these public appearances, the more confident and strident she becomes. It scares the bejeebies out of the political class. It's no wonder, she embodies the American spirit, striking a cord with like minded Americans, she is the antithesis of today's politician. Palin is a breath of fresh air in the political maelstrom, speaking for millions that want, no demand government reverts to its constitutional roots, for and by the people. Accountability is making a comeback in American politics and Sarah Palin is carrying the torch.

The Wall Street Journal reports:
In 1962, President John F. Kennedy planted the seeds that grew the modern Democratic Party. That year, JFK signed executive order 10988 allowing the unionization of the federal work force. This changed everything in the American political system. Kennedy's order swung open the door for the inexorable rise of a unionized public work force in many states and cities.
