The House of Errors passed the disastrous American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 late Friday. The 1200 page monstrosity, with a 300 page addendum, introduced at 3AM Friday morning, was debated and passed in just three hours.

What an absolute embarrassment for the families and constituents of the idiots, the morons that signed onto Obama-Waxman cap and tax scheme (HR2454). One would hope embarrassment foments into anger in 2010 for 211 brain dead liberals and eight stunted RINO's alike:

For: 219
Democrat: 211
Republican:  8

Against: 212
Democrat:  44
Republican:  168

The eight RINO's that failed to find reason:

  • Reichert-Washington--8th District
  • Bono-California--45th District
  • Castle-Delaware--
  • Kirk-Illinois--10th District
  • Lance-New Jersey--7th District
  • LoBiondo-New Jersey--2nd District
  • McHugh-New York--23rd District
  • Smith-New Jersey--4th District

Kudos to the 44 Democrats who voted against the bill:

  • Altmire-Pennsylvania
  • Arcuri-New York
  • Barrow-Georgia
  • Berry-Arkansas
  • Boren-Oklahoma
  • Bright-Alabama
  • Carney-Pennsylvania
  • Childers-Mississippi
  • Costa-California
  • Costello-Illinois
  • Dahlkemper-Pennsylvania
  • Davis-Alabama
  • Davis-Tennessee
  • DeFazio-Oregon
  • Donnelly-Indiana
  • Edwards-Texas
  • Ellsworth-Indiana
  • Foster-Illinois
  • Griffith-Alabama
  • Herseth Sandlin-South Dakota
  • Holden-Pennsylvania
  • Kirkpatrick-Arizona
  • Kissell-North Carolina
  • Kucinich-Ohio
  • Marshall-Georgia
  • Massa-New York
  • Matheson-Utah
  • McIntyre-North Carolina
  • Melancon-Louisiana
  • Minnick-Idaho
  • Mitchell-Arizona
  • Mollohan-West Virginia
  • Ortiz-Texas
  • Pomeroy-North Dakota
  • Rahall-West Virginia
  • Rodriguez-Texas
  • Ross-Arkansas
  • Salazar-Colorado
  • Stark-California
  • Tanner-Tennessee
  • Taylor-Mississippi
  • Visclosky-Indiana
  • Wilson-Ohio

The cap and trade scheme is wrong on so many levels it is difficult to understand how anyone can rationally justify levying the single greatest tax increase in American history in support of a man made delusion. The madness will probably fail in the Senate, however, leave nothing to chance, phone calls are urged to your Senator to make sure they understand the American people are not as naive as the Pelosi morons that voted to support the bill in the first place.
