The Obama presidency, when analyzed objectively will show that Barack Obama, as an individual, has no empathy, true character or the depth of personality to feel anything beyond what his handlers have trained him to portray. In that regard, Obama's handlers have no depth of soul either, as the power to manipulate an agenda takes precedence over dealing with the pain of war or the rage of a madman. Obama's only claim, his legacy if you will, will be the eloquence with which he speaks when prepped and supplied with a teleprompter. There is nothing else. Everything he does is about appearance, everything is orchestrated, his entire life, his presidency is manufactured.
The tragedy in Texas bears this out.
Obama cannot, without preparation or speech writers or teleprompter, speak from the heart. It is beyond his comprehension or ability. In the many hours after the senseless killings in Texas, Obama's supposedly sympathetic but tepid words were tacked onto the end of a prepared oratory about health care reform. Along with Obama, his handlers were thoughtless in their response as their lack of empathy or respect for our armed forces overrides any ability to show compassion. Maybe there was a pick-up game or a round of golf on the schedule that needed to be squeezed into the days activities. Priorities.
Contrast that with George and Laura Bush, as they secretly spent "considerable time" visiting and consoling the wounded at Fort Hood. No press, no photo ops. Compassion, character, a true depth of soul...
The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News.
Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura secretly visited Fort Hood last night and spent "considerable time" consoling those who were wounded in Thursday's shooting spree, Fox News has learned.
The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News.
The couple was described as "deeply concerned" about military families on Fort Hood after Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan allegedly opened fire on soldiers and civilians, killing 13 and wounding 38.
The press and liberal revisionists would have us believe the entire Bush presidency was without depth or concern for soldiers and families. They claimed he was aloof and detached and they could prove it because there were no pictures glorifying the Commander in Chief saluting caskets of fallen patriots. The truth of the matter is, Bush met with hundreds of wounded veterans during and after his term, meeting and consoling wounded veterans quietly in his home without the craven press documenting his every word. George Bush also attended more funerals than Obama has played golf or pick-up games of basketball, and there were many. The golf and basketball games are documented ad nauseum, by an adoring press as real life issues that required an attentive Commander in Chief are ignored or marginalized by Obama, his handlers and the purchased media. Unless of course, when there was a photo opportunity needed to quell the masses.
Whereas, Bush shunned the camera during those solemn occasions of consoling, mourning and reflection, because his personal actions and sympathies were more important to him and the families affected than political opportunity or public perception.
As a veteran, I am proud of the former Commander in Chief knowing he has my back. With Obama, turning my back may result in a school bus enema and a postmortem invoice to my children for standing in the way of change.
