MTA: Maryland in Trouble...

MTA Vol1No1 Oct11 Page 1If you have not had the chance, take a moment to digest The Maryland Taxpayers Association's new monthly newsletter. The fact-filled newsletter is chock-full of information not freely available in the local media or easily disseminated in Annapolis.

The Maryland Taxpayers Association is a 501(c)(4) non-partisan, not-for-profit, volunteer grass-roots organization which asks Maryland elected officials for their pledge not to raise taxes, acts to make Maryland government more efficient, and organizes and chairs the Maryland Leadership Conference.

" But as the plan of the convention aims only at a partial union or consolidation, the State governments would clearly retain all the rights of sovereignty which they before had, and which were not, by that act, EXCLUSIVELY delegated to the United States. "

-- Alexander Hamilton (Federalist No. 32, 3 January 1788)

Please consider contributing, if only a couple of bucks, the cost of countering the liberal media is arduous and costly.
